OMG!! I Have A Kindergartener!

For the next couple of days you are going to be seeing a lot of posts about school, school supplies, clothes, and just neat things that I find on the web about having a child in school. Last night we took Gabby to Kindergarten Greeting and Orientation. It was soooo exciting and even more exciting to see Gabby so happy and friendly with all her classmates. Even though it is not our ideal school setting, I am hoping that she just has fun and makes some nice friends!

While looking for supplies for Gabby for school, one of the things that we had a harder time doing was finding a backpack that was size appropriate for her. There is nothing worse then seeing a little one struggling with a pack that is waaaaay too big. We settled on one that did not have any TV characters (she wasn't interested in them anyhow, thank goodness!) and was meant more for toddlers and preschoolers. Made by Timberland, I know that this backpack won't fall apart half way through the year!
